Larkstone helps ambitious businesses grow by leveraging the lessons we’ve learned having already been on your journey. Over the years, we’ve developed internal systems (that we’re very proud of!) which enable us to not only move quickly, but build things you may not have thought possible. Yes, we use AI to achieve lots of things that we do, however, we use AI where it earns its place, not just for the sake of it.
Our agentic systems
Our agentic systems exist to solve problems. Businesses are often cut off at the knees due to processes, administrative tasks, bureaucracy, data collection and research or all of the above. Bespoke, tailored agentic systems in particular really shine at freeing up previously unthought of time allowing your best people to do their best creative work. In turn, this unlocks huge potential in your business without changing your entire business structure.
The other major problem our agentic systems exist to solve is the case for rapid development. As your technology partner, our custom internal tooling has been created with this specific goal in mind. We have our own harnesses and guardrails that not only allow for rapid prototyping, but rapid production-ready development too, free from the need to have increasingly common ‘AI Audits’ to uncover the ‘AI slop’.
Two things have to be true for an agent to be deemed worthy of its existence.
It does real work.
Agents that do shiny things but never leave the sandbox are meaningless for achieving your goals. Our agents must solve real world problems and bottlenecks in a reliable and scaleable way either freeing up your best people’s time, accelerating your next phase of growth, and sometimes both. They are a piece of a larger puzzle we’re trying to solve with you, never a panacea for the sake of a sales pitch.
Your team runs it.
We’re firm believers in the future being people and AI, not people or AI. Our own internal agentic systems work with our team and we iterate on it over time as our business changes and grows. We implement systems that will do just the same for you. We always put people and security first in our approach to building software, and this is especially true with agentic solutions.
Beyond AI
AI and agentic software are the buzz-words of today and the part that everyone seems to want to talk about. They’re an important part of what we do, but really, they’re just doing the ‘grunt work’ we’ve always done but with much greater efficiency.
We put people first.
At our core, we are a people business. We believe we have the best people in the industry and our recruitment process has been systematically refined over the years to maintain that. We understand how fundamental and irreplaceable people are in every business, and we know there are a great many answers to our clients’ problems within them. This is why a huge part of our process is interviews.
Whilst many of our solutions involve designing and building agentic systems, a lot of what we do does not involve AI at all. Aside from our people-first and ‘human in the loop’ processes, we also practise hands-on, considered software engineering and DevOps and infrastructure design and implementation. Lastly, all of our communications and content (including everything you read on our website) has and will be written without any AI involvement!
